Why is that all the questions about Wicca show up in mythology?
Because as with most things yahoo is ran by a bunch of christians and to christians wicca and magic are myths because it has nothing to do with their god. And if it has nothing to do with their god it dosn't exist.

Technically every religion is or rather has also a mythology. Saying it is myth is not - in the strict sense - saying it is wrong, or not real. Christianity also has a myth - and to say that says nothing certainly in terms of value judgements about that religion.

A lot of people cling to what they want to believe. Though now a days there are more and more who are coming forward in their beliefs. It's that same old thing, what we can't see, feel, tast, or even smell tend to render unreal. Those most of the world believes is some thing that they can't see. The factor is that people are going to believe what they want. It doesn't matter what they believe. It matters what you believe. We have to put up with them just as much as they have to put up with us. That's just the balance in things. What kind of world would be have if we all believe in the same thing.

That we do my love. It is sad to say that there are those out there that , no matter what religon they have, feel as though they must fight the other half all the time. I have heard wiccan even put their noise up to a christain because they believe in God. Though we are not suppose to do that we are only human vampire or not. The best tool, at times, is just to smile and be the better person. As long as we are not, meaning on a personal factor, the ones to put our noise up we are the one that gain more info and wisdom.

But many still do. Its sad to say that but most people where i live if they honestly didn't have the law stopping them, would very much hurt many people in our city just for being wiccan.

You are right dear and that is why laws are put forth. Still as long as one does not hurt us we should be the ones, no matter what religon you are, who put our best foot forward for a better path. In doing that we must also not drag those who do not want to go and make them fallow. We should be happy for others who have found some thing to believe in for that gives them hope. Hope is what keep much of the world alive. As long as that hope does not hurt another then we should be happy for that person.

for one, i think that wicca is a bit of both. i mean, didn't we originally come from the Celts and Gauls? most people's opinions on those people were that they believed in something that was completely fictional, andthat they believed in mythology, and based their religion around mythology. so if we come from them, then we too are branded as the believers of mythology, not a certain religious belief that could be recognised by the public. however, having said this, wicca is slightly different from the Celts and Gauls, and we believe in gods, two gods to be exact, and not millions of tree spirits etc. there is a fine line between religion and mythology, and sometimes that line gets a little blurred. so people have wrongly mistaken our religion to be a mythology, rather than a reigion simply because they do notunderstand the differences between the two...
