When I watched the two, their plots seemed closely to tie into modern day soaps, like Days of Our Lives and General Hospital, with the plot lines. Divorce, Betrayal, Adultery, Husband/Wife stealing, witchcraft, Beheading, War, etc.

yeah, "soap operas" are just drama's so yeah, the only difference is content, characters and setting.

I wouldnt call them soap opera's becuase they are on prime time and they arent used to get women to buy the companies products.They are more like shows classified under "fictitious historical drama"My mom laughs at me and tells me Queer as Folk and The L Word is a soap opera because of all the drama,I'd say it more of just an adult drama (lots a sex XP) -lol-I LOVE The Tudors BTW,I didnt think I would but dang that crap is ADDICTIVE!!

Kei thinks they're more of dramas, nyaa. Yes, soap operas have drama too, but those are more exaggerated and have lots more drama. If that makes any sense, nyaa.
