I have been studying different things about witchcraft lately when I found out he was a Wiccan. I was actualy exploring my own religious options when I came across a website that gave information about Wicca. I would love to know more about MODERN Wicca icluding their beliefs and practices. All Wicca is modern. The religion has only been in existence since the mid-twentieth century. The best website for accurate information is http://wicca.timerift.netAs far as other religions related to witchcraft, that could be any religion. Witchcraft is a practice. As opposed to Wicca which is a religion and not the same thing as witchcraft. Witchcraft can be practiced by a person of any religion or no religion at all. The first link given is great for info on Wicca.But I do want to correct one idea, witchcraft is NOT a religion.It is magical practice done by people of any or no religion whatsoever. Some Wiccans are Witches. The vast majority are not.Some Witches are Wiccan. The vast majority are not.

Being a wiccan is mainly about respect. Respecting yourself, everyone around you, Mother earth and all of nature's glory. There are many books you can read in order to find out about modern wicca. This is the first book I have ever owned that had anything to do with wicca and it is great for beginners. The book is called Magick Made Easy and it's by Patricia Telesco. If you do choose wicca as your journey, you will see that Telesco has many books that are helpful.
