Most religions have some practise that could be called witchcraft, Wicca is the most modern and most associated with it. I'm a witch, but not a Wiccan. I don't recognise the redes or anything else as anything more then pretty poetry. That doesn't mean I'm not a witch, I merely follow the traditional witchcraft that my family has followed for ages, no eclecticism, no mix and match deities--not that it isn't a valid religion or path, just that I don't do it. The assumption is, you say witch, you mean Wiccan, which is annoying.

But don't just rely on the net. Be willing to read a lot of books. Everyone has their favorites and ones they don't like. Also, sit down and try to write a definition of what you are searching for, or what you are drawn to- like ritual, Goddess, Nature, Celtic, things that will help you to define your path so that once you start reading more, you have some idea of what authors or traditions-or not- you want to explore more throughly. There are quite a few very helpful witches on YA and they give great advice. Good luck in your search!
