Kimveer Gill, alias Trench kept a Vampire diary of sorts. Kimveer Gill is the Montreal gunman that killed one woman and wound 19 other people, and had an obsession with guns and death, according to his online journal.

The vampire journal, written under the name fatality666 at the site vampirefreaks.com, looks chilling in retrospect, reports Metro UK.

However, there is actually very little to distinguish it from the journals of thousands of others, none of whom are likely to kill people – it lists his favorite movies, bands, and video games, and is filled with the 'what X are you?' quizzes that are extremely popular in online journal communities.

Gill begins his profile on the site by writing about himself in the third person:

'His name is Kimveer. You will come to know him as Trench. He is male. He is 25 years of age. He lives in Quebec. He finds that it is an O.K place to live. He is not a people person. He has met a handfull [sic] of people in his life who are decent. But he finds the vast majority to be worthless, no good, kniving, betraying, lieing [sic], deceptive'

He then writes in big red letters: 'Work sucks..........School sucks..........Life sucks..........What else can I say. Metal and Goth kick ass.

'Life is like a video game, you gotta die sometime.'

His day to die was Wednesday.

According to CBC News, he reportedly arrived at Dawson College dressed entirely in black, wearing a trench coat and carrying an automatic gun when he opened fire. Eyewitnesses said Gill began shooting outside the college at 2:41 PM on Wednesday, and he proceeded though its main doors to continue firing in all directions inside.

Police arrived almost immediately, as they have been in the area. The policemen followed the gunman inside. Gill died after exchanging gunfire with police. Of the 19 people injured, at least six were in critical condition this morning. Montreal police said the victims ranged in age from 17 to 48.

Police today identified the dead student as Anastasia De Souza, an 18-year-old woman from Montreal.

Wow, someone like him was also on internet, youtube, under the name sturmgeist... What horrible reason would they have to do something like that...

People snap, people change, people feel. Anything could have happened to him in his life to make him do what he had done.
All I see is that people are going to use him as an example to say that vampirism, video games, goths, and internet are evil and we should ban it/them all.
I wonder what made him cross that line, what got him to do what anyone else could do at any time but holds back from. Why did he feel he had to do it then. What did he go through, experience, or learn that made him snap like that.
