She wasn't charged because the kids rescued from her house escaped from their care homes and went back to living on the street. Seems she was tracked down and arrested later after advertising seances which were really black-magic sessions.

I hope she's finally been put away for a while so she's stopped preying on these youngsters.

Well, you know how it is - these ex-Soviet republics have become quite the hotbed of capitalism these days, so I suppose children's blood is as much of a commodity as anything else. And in a society where there's such extreme poverty and apparently nobody doing much about it, you have a steady supply of victims. Sad, isn't it?

I remeber reading about this, trading drugs for blood and inviting the homless in and trading food for blood. Very disturbing.

its kinda funny.... im sure you all have heard of elizabeth bathory, who did the same thing, although she believed it would keep her young.. or so i heard... i think throughout every age there are at least a few fanatics, who take what we are to an extreme
