The Fall of Faith
Rome-Vatican City- what more can i say. After sometime i ended up in Rome. While there i studied some of the history of the city and the Catholic faith. I thought that i had found paradise on earth. One day while dining i met an interesting and lovely woman named Elizabeth. We set and spoke of things, the more i looked into her eyes the more i believed in love at first sight. For the next several weeks i courted her-taking her to dinner at the best resturants, and anything her heart desired. One evening she invited me to her home to meet her adopted father. Once arriving only then did i realize that he was a Arch-Bishop of the Catholic faith. He was a polite and good man we spend the evening discussing faith and the bible. After sometime i excused myself and went home. For the next several months i spent every waking hour with Elizabeth. One night i was invited to their home for dinner, after we had ate i asked the Arch-Bishop for his daughters hand in marriage. i will never forget what he said"Abraham she is my only child and I would be honored for you to be her husband." Six months later we were married in a field outside of Rome. After sometime Elizabeth began to realize what she had married. Late one night she asked me "Abraham are you a demon?" i answered "no my love i am no demon, i am a vampyr." After explaining to her what i am she came to live with the fact that her husband was not like most husbands. Two years to the day of our wedding i came home to a burning house and my loving wife Elizabeth being burnt as a witch. As i saw and heard her pain and anguish the man i had became no longer existed. I crept up to the Arch-Bishop slowly pulling a dagger from my belt, i put my hand over his mouth and inserted the dagger into his abdomen. He screamed for his life as i felt his intestines spilled from his stomach. By the time i got to my Elizabeth she could only say one thing " Abraham always remember who you are and who you can be." I set with my love until her soul left this world for a better one. As the flames died out so did my faith in the Catholic church.

RE: The Fall of Faith
It is very sad but remember what the times where also. We, know now that we just don't burn people at the steak for what they are or what they believe in.
