This is a dream that I had last year about one of my closest friends.
I wrote what I remembered down and turned it into this (short) story.

Walking up to your house, there is a faint smile on my lips. I knock on your door and wait for a few minutes, maybe, four minutes. I ring the doorbell again. and wait. I ring your mobile and it goes on ringing and ringing and ringing. I hear it just inside your house, I look through the window and...no!!!! No way. I gasp and pale rapidly before looking again. I take in the blurred sight...red...My God!! So much red and a person.. is it you? Your...Your...laying in it. God PLEASE.....NO! My eyes fill with tears but I blink them away. I smash in the window and run to the person laying in the blood. Lying next to the knife and several empty pill bottles. No! I won't let this be real. If I close my eyes...it hasn't happened. I stay with my eyes closed for a good ten minutes hoping and hoping and wishing and wishing although I can feel the now cold blood trickling round me. I take your cold, pale hand and unclench your fist. There is a note inside. Barely legible. But a note. Blood stained and tear stained, the note read, I love you, but I couldn't take it. I'm sorry. Pure and simple, but the most complicated thing in the world. I ask why... I ask you...I shake your shoulders willing you to wake up and tell me why the hell you have done this to yourself...to....me.

criticism? You think someone can criticize this? It's too good! I loved it! I felt and saw everything. I just love it!

The emotions are so strong. It nearly brought tears to my eyes. If I'd have had this dream I would have woken up screaming, crying, and cold. In a story sense it was excellent.

I actually did wake up screaming, and crying. It was one of the most emotional dreams I've ever had.

It's kind of strange. Whenever I see her, because when I look into her eyes I can see the girl cold and lifeless with her wrists sliced open that I saw in my dream.. Just waiting to come out. I hope it never comes true. I love this girl to death. She's my bestfriend. Without her I don't know what I'd do.
