There wont be an update for some time.
There's some other projects being worked on that are, quite frankly, more important than Momento Mori.
And this is because we're hopefully going to be filming it in one to two weeks.

We decided that would take too long, mainly because I don't have a plan for actually finishing the story any time soon haha.
I think we decided that we're filming it to when Shanae becomes a Vampire and then cutting it off there, letting me write a few more chapters and then continue on from there.

Cool a movie for this story is just going to have to be awesome. And I agree with shandee you have to keep us updated.

We currently have the entire cast set, locations being worked out and costumes and script nearly finished. All we need is a camera...
Here's an update for you all as well =)

Corinne stumbled into her house, Raphael not far behind her and Shanae following him. Raphael grabbed them both by the arm and shushed them. “Corinne, we don’t want to wake up your Mum!”
Corinne giggled and leapt in to his arms. “She works nights, Raphael dear! We have the house all to ourselves! Just you, me, Shanae and the entire series of Heroes!”
Shanae laughed and walked elegantly in to the kitchen. Neither her nor Raphael had anything to drink at the club. Beforehand though, Shanae made her first trip to the Blood Bank and picked up some drinks for her and Raphael.
In the dim light of the kitchen, her advanced eyesight easily focused on the cupboards and she searched through all of them until she came across three glasses and a half empty bottle of Coke. She half filled the glasses and entered the lounge room where Raphael was laying on the couch with Corinne asleep on top of him. Shanae stood there for a few moments, Raphael expected the worst but it didn’t come. She came and sat beside him and handed him the glass. “Thank you.” He murmured.
Shanae sat beside him silently and didn’t say a word. Neither of them took a sip of their drinks. Corinne shifted and buried her face deeper into Raphael’s chest, and he delicately placed an arm around her. She shrugged him off and rolled over until she was resting on a shocked looking Shanae. Corinne smiled softly and went back to a deep slumber.
Raphael placed his glass down on the floor and stood up, pacing the room carefully. Shanae followed him around the room with her eyes. “Raphael… I’m sorry.”
He stopped.
“I’m sorry I went so off at you today.”
Raphael’s head drooped slightly. “That’s okay. You had an excuse. There was no excuse for what I did.”

Zane stood inside Shanae’s room, picking up trinkets to examine. Since she had become a Vampire, she had moved out of her old house claiming that she wished to live with Raphael. Now she occupied a spare room where merely a quarter of her old possessions could fit in. Zane smirked slightly. Humans were so easily put in to boxes; so easily defined. But Shanae was no longer human…
The door opened and Zane quickly disappeared.
Shanae wiped her eyes. Trailing after her came Corinne, who stumbled slightly but was quickly caught by Shanae, and moved toward the bed. Corinne shrugged her off and mumbled that she could do it herself before falling onto the floor, where she promptly began to snore softly. Shanae smiled and took the cover off the bed and placed it over Corinne. A mumbled thank you escaped her lips. Shanae lay down next to her and stared at the girl for a while. Studied her. Slowly, her lips parted as she moved towards Corinne’s neck. Ever so softly, she placed her lips on her neck and planted a small kiss, using all the self control she had to leave it at just a kiss.
In the shadows, Zane frowned. He cleared his throat to alert Shanae of his presence. She gasped slightly when she saw him, but fear turned to relief when she realised that he was almost smiling. “Zane… What are you doing here?”
He walked towards her, hands behind his back with strong strides. “I’m here to offer you something. Raphael did tell you that you don’t need human blood to survive, right?”
Shanae shook her head.
“Of course he didn’t… You don’t need human blood. You can use animals. You need to hunt more frequently, but it means you wont have anyone’s life on your conscious. When you’re doomed to remember everything for eternity, those sort of things weigh down upon you.”
Shanae stared at him. “Why are you really here?”
Zane reached into his belt and withdrew a vial of blood. “Just give it a try, Shanae. That’s all I ask. If you decide that it isn’t for you, then you just hand it back and go on draining the life of other human beings.” He held out the vial in his hand, like a pill to an addict. Shanae stepped cautiously towards him, wondering why Raphael hadn’t heard their voices and come in to see what was going on. She hesitantly reached out her hand and took the vial from him. She examined it carefully before unstopping the lid and taking a swig. The cool liquid swirled around in her mouth, the taste catching her off guard. It wasn’t as sweet as human blood, but everything was still there. She began to down the rest of the vial when Ashton burst through the door.
