its very good. i've got some ideas for you. you, like, tell how Adam got to where he is now. tell what happen prior to the attack he just committed. tell all the events up to the attack and then go forward in a sequal.
and i would also like to see the next part.

WHOA!! I loved it, really. You touched me and I felt sorry for your character. But just try to make your chapters a bit longer. I've a lot of writing tips books and they advised on making the chapters about 20 pages long.

Short chapters confuses the reader. The reader no longer knows the the difference between the chapter and the scene. In other words, when you end your chapter with a moment of excitement, the reader soon gets bored and say, "I'll go to sleep now. I already have a lot of chapters to finish". You know most of the time, the reader closes the novel when the chapter beforehand ends.

But seriously, I loved it!! Well done!

by the way, if you're thinking about put a girl on, don't forget to put the duality(i think i spell it wrong) between love and danger... after all, dating and loving a vampire not always is that easy... ^^
