Chapter 1
Infection
It was 10:23PM a little past my bed time. There were festering urges that just couldn't be explained. I couldn't become more clear that I was to earn these rights to hold control of my own features. That is when I saw her, and the minute I saw her, is when I wanted her. Not knowing who she is just made a task so much more difficult to say “hello”. I had no right to intension, so swiftly passing the girl that I couldn't have made life seem much more clearer. That my avoidable personality contained me astray all these years, as well as the hunger to feed on the thirst once more.
As I spend the nights alone waiting in the under casting shadows of the celestial night waiting for girl to return, while keeping the monster by my side whom always seemed strangely different, Like it was apart of me, but I never wanted it. The monster was me, whom loved to crawl up and down the spine of the girl, under tears and blood. While I stood there waiting on the perched ledge of the rooftop. Waiting. And Waiting. For any blood based package to come by to seek me a visit in this dark alley fare way.
My slender eyes glared at the body farm, looking for a eccentric victim, one that I could cope with under a stressful night like this. I turn to seek such a women, whom eyes were copper as coffee. Lips such a broad along her cheek bones. Swooping over to the next building was my greater intentions. As I railed downwards the ladder in the next seceding alley. Pulling her into the darkness, was my greatest behavior.
Quickly and meaninglessly with my sharp seduction grazing her poise. My quickest attempts at pulling her away from this world was such an easy way to live with myself. I grasped slowly into her arms, shift height and weight, for a more frightful appearance. Licking my lips twice. I quickly and cheaply tore into the thin pale neck of the this girls life, involved with the abundant energy flowing through veins while gripping tightly onto her weight, as if it were my own. The reminding taste of sweet nectar flowing through me, would sustain me for another night of such a tormenting deed.
I continued to drink from this valuable source until the swan grew weary. The taste so great and new to me. Feeling so alive and strong, such behavior I couldn't possibly comprehend. As soon as I realized it I had bled her to her death under so many layers of skin, I had cut through just to get to her blood. The taste was so delicious, like a virus I was. Dreadful as I may seem, I plague the thoughts of a peoples nightmares every once and a while. That they would never have to greet a creature quite like me.
So as I finish my swan, I gathered my things up from the ground. The essentials, Book bag and tattered off my boots and long coat. I was having a difficult moment pulling out the knives and cleaning the thin slices of skin and licking the blood off, but eventually they were made silvery clean, and quickly concealed them into my coat pockets. Quietly checking for evidence of her silent death, made things particularly easy. Just like that, I vanish from the worlds seeing eye. for another night.
The second I decide to leave my meal, I hear a voice.
“so you still don't follow the rules, as I can see, Brandon.”
I swallowed my pride, “I guess you could say, you would be right, only you would know, since you have nothing better to do, than watch what I am up to.”
The voice calls out, “It doesn't even matter if I am there or not, you still decide to deify the rules, no matter what the consequences are! Especially are existence!”
I smugly look, and state, “well, you could attempt to kill me, but you need me, isn't that why you are here? Dorias?”
Dorias gently pulls away into the moonlight, with such a crooked smile.
“you seem to always think you are better than everyone else, with your smug attitude,” Dorias replied.
“Can I go now, I have better things to do than listen to nag about your safety,” I said in underscore anger. Dorias shook his head, “not yet, I must tell you that the others worry about there safety, with the way that you hunt.”
I laughed, “what are the humans going to do about it anyways, spray us with garlic, or how about hiding in there churches, that would make it allot easier to hunt, all of that blood in one area just think about it.”
“your not here to start a war Brandon!,” Dorias spoke under rage.
“maybe I am, it would help the coven”, I Quickly replied.
“Or destroy us, your young,” Dorias interrupted.
I interrupted, “and yet I am stronger than you, how does that work?”
“Brandon even if you manage to fuel your human farm for the coven, how can you live with yourself?”
I spoke, “why are you here Dorias?”
Dorias spoke softly, “I am here to correct a mistake to preserve our way of life.” quickly locking eyes to mine.
Dorias quickly jumping at me, nailing me to the sex covered brick wall, with the knives displayed into his hands to my torso. I kick back knocking him off of me, while I hang on the wall, quickly tugging the knives out of me, free falling to the ground, implanting the knives to Dorias's spine. Swiftly removing the knives out of my coat to the throat of Dorias.
I spoke the last words he will ever hear, “looks like somebody forgot to feed today,”
dragging the custom carved blade across his throat. Beginning to dismantle his throat by carving down toward his heart, pulling inward toward his heart. While I reach under the ribcage for his beating heart. I swiftly tug it out, and started tugging at it with my teeth. Tearing at it with my fingers and teeth, digesting his nimble heart.
