Here is some article I wrote once for my friend. Say what do you think.

In our world, full of creatures, demons & spirits, you can’t find more scary, terrible but indeed so beautiful and strong creauture, than A Vampire.
Vampires don’t belong to any kind of creatures. They are special nature of essences, that described as “creatures that need other’s energy for surviving”.
Vampirism is related to psychic talent. The psychic talent brought to "light"; by the "hunger".

It’s a kind of problem to tell, what is true and what is not..
One myth says, that Drakula was the first vampire. Another myth says that The Queen of the vampires, was Akasha..
But it realy doesn’t matter.

What matters is: Who are they?!

Part of them are cold, dark and lonely creauters.. Another part of them are complacent with their being.. Like one of my friends wrote:
“We are the many-born. We are the immortal. We have been known by many names throughout the ages, though few have understood the truth of our existence.
Endlessly, we die and reborn, changed yet unchanging throughout the ages. We move from lifetime to lifetime, taking up bodies as garments.

We thirst for life and we feed upon it.
It is our greatest weakness and our greatest prize. “
Forget all the movies you saw, where vampire is an ugly creature, or on the contrary, cool and gothic, with red eyes and long fangs, that becomes a bat in the nights, flies from roof to roof and seeks for some pretty girl to bite her neck.
No.
So how do they look?
Indeed, like humans. The same body, the same clothes. Just another lifestyle. Part of them indeed have long fangs, part of them don’t.
Is there some symptoms to vampires?
Vampires do share physical symptoms, although you can find them in common human behaviour, which distincts a vampire is that quality for energy.
They are usually "creatures of the night". Having inverted some of their body cycles most of vampires find it difficult to have a day life. Although most of them have to live during the day, their minds work better at night time. They tend to prefer not to walk or to be under the sun, some theories say that the sun can take their energy away, producing a sensation of weakness, lack of vision.
Exaclty like humans, vampires can belong to every religion. It’s a real mistake to think that vampires are satanists. Exactly like humans, they can be christians, jews, moslem. They don’t hate God and don’t worship the Devil. (Sure, part of them (like humans) do, but not all of them.) And they don’t afraid from crosses. It’s only a myth. Another part of vampires don’t pertaining to any religion.

Wide-spread kinds:
Psy Vampire
A psychic vampire, is that who feeds off pranic energy. They can also feed of emotions, feelings and also the life of a person. Their element is energy. The know how to take, to change and to use energy of others for eveything. The most wide-spread kind. Some of them will “suck” your energy because of their self imbalance. They need it to survive. Another vampire will take your energy just because he wants it, without any reason. Some vampires may not even be aware of their nature. Some of them even don’t know what they’re doing... But if they cannot accomplish their awakeness their life can turn into chaos, feel empty, depressed, umbalanced, irritable, and make their lives unhappy as well as others.
Each psychic vampire has to test himself in order to find the best way of feeding. Feeding techniques then varies from one vampire to another. Meditation, visualization, auras approach, concentration, transformation of energies, astral projections and etc.. Just taking not physical energy. (There I mean that they don’t do any physical reactions – they don’t touch “the energy”. I don’t know how to say it...).
Death Vampire
Kind of Psy vampires, that take energy only from negative feelings - pain, sorrow, sadness.. and even death. Usualy they seek quarrels, negative situations, for feeding. Be careful from these vampires.
Sexual Vampire
The most common description of a sexual vampire is that it is a person who feeds off sexual energy. Sexual vampires are psy vampires, but they are feeding specificly from sex. Sexual energy is life energy.
Sang Vampire
A vampire that takes energy from blood. Not all real vampires drink blood. Like I said before, most of them don’t need a physical contact to take energy. But some of them do. Blood is the highest source of pranic energy. Only vampires know how to obtain the pranic energy from blood, that may be one of the reasons why Real Vampires feel attraction for blood.
Goth Vampire
Vampires that usually live in pairs, and drink blood only from each other. They are usually inlove, and live due to each other. They obtain to gothic lifestyle and worldoutlook.
Full Vampire
Humans call them – “Creatures Without Soul”.
Indeed, they just can’t feel. Usually Full Vampire is combination between Psy & Blood vampire. They are cold and indifferent. They just keep surviving.
Their soul is immortal...
Today:
Today, Vampires are hiding, keeping quiet about their existance. I mean, they are between us, but you will never know who they are. One of their rules says that they must to keep their existance in secret from humans. They are alone or in company of their congeners.
For Humans...
For all those people who want to meet some vampire for asking him to bite you, to become a vampire:
Being a vampire is not “cool” like you all call it. It is hard, painfull. It is suffering.
It’s not as pretty as you see in movies – Flying from roof to roof, in gothic clothes and ambiguous glance. Forget about all your stupid fantasies, and be happy that you are humans. This is not a game, and you have no way back.
Don’t play with it!!!

What I don't get is, why if vampires don't create others becouse they don't want anyone to suffer from the consequenses, why do there are still vampires on the world if people are hunting them down and slaughter them, becouse that is something I don't get, there is also something that freaks me out, and that are those dead vampires who feed on negative feelings, becouse that means I am right now very weak to them, becouse my day is always grey or black.
But if I had to choose what vampire I would be is my answer clear, an goth vampire, I am very romantic normally, but if would listen to all those arguments or warnings to stay away from them, or even the thought of becoming one of them, then I would'nt know it anymore, becouse if i'm one of them, how the hell can I become more depressive as I am right now? But still, I will never be the one who decides, becouse the vampire can choose if he/her would change me or not, so all those warnings are useless, becouse it is not the human who can choose, becouse it would be hard to find someone to change that person, I mean, how many of that kind are there on this forum? Just answer that question.

As in humans, not all vampires would see eye to eye and thus some may sire others - if that happens. Perhaps it can be passed on by birth. Don't discount accidents, or the loneliness of eternity or the possibility to change ones mind or try new things over thousands of years. Or vampyres could be an evolutionary species. Etc. Some possibles counter positions to your idea.
