Sin Again
This is another song I wrote just this morning
The tempo is very dark and slow and sensual at first. Then it gets fast at the end
Running into the dark again
I'm lost within the shadows
Crawling out of sight
Drowning out the sights and
sounds of a world in which
I do not belong. I cannot
right this wrong
You erase the sin again
the darkness dying within
You release me of this shame
And by your side I begin
You erase the sin again
the darkness dying within
You release me of this shame
And by your side I begin
Surrendering the hold I have
on this world. Release the anger.
Crying out to you, You're running
back to me. You end it all
you start anew. You hide me in your arms
Shielding me from the demons right outside my door
You're holding me tight...
And why am I not screaming anymore?..
You erase the sin again
the darkness dying within
You release me of this shame
And by your side I begin
You erase the sin again
the darkness dying within
You release me of this shame
And by your side I begin
the darkness dying in me, the
growing light I see. the shadows
fading from my eyes.
the darkness dying in me, the
growing light I see. the shadows
fading from my eyes.
the darkness dying in me, the
growing light I see. the shadows
fading from my eyes.
You erase the sin again
the darkness dying within
You release me of this shame
And by your side I begin x3

RE: Sin Again
WOW! awesomeee. Do you play any instruments?
I really love the feeling these words give. They're emotive and really evocative.
'Drowning out the sights..'
I LOVE this line in particular. Great images.
'You're holding me tight...
And why am I not screaming anymore?..'
And that bit is great too. The question is epic.
In general, amazing lyrics. Sounds like something My Chem would write in their earlier (and far greater, imo) days.

RE: Sin Again
I agree with everyone else.
As a song writer myself I have to do this. *one person standing ovation*
Every time I read it I can hear a new song, or new way to play it. (Mentally) it sounds very versatile.
Nice job.

RE: Sin Again
I can't play anything. lol (shame faced) The only thing I can do is sing. I love writing songs and singing them. The words just keep flowing and I don't even know what I've written until I'm done. You guys really think it's good???

RE: Sin Again
Yeah, definately. It's got a kind of pulse to it. It sounds nice when you say it aloud and it uses great images.

RE: Sin Again
Its really good!
While I know this has been said by quite a few before me I feel the need to repeat it because I enjoyed it that much.
