:'] This one brought tears to my eyes! I have a close relationship to my Dad so reading this, and registering the emotion.. beautiful. I can just imagine the feeling the author would be feeling. The repitition is really effective. Lovely poem.

And the bit at the end is really emotive. Provokes very strong images. I like the contrast of rainbows and 'glistening darkly'. I think that's the part that is really effective, as well as the way you describe the paintbrush 'skating'.

I'm sorry.. My father and I had a real close relationship, But I tried some pills one day and almost overdosed. Since then, our relationship kind of drfted... I've said sorry sooo many times, but he looks right through me like I'm not there.

And I was going to put "the night sky" for rainbow, but I like a rainbow of all dark colours better.. lol.. well, thank you, once again harriettt!!!!
