VICTIM


I am running down a small road..
I left my cellphone home on load..
Someone was chasing me..
And all I did was to flee..
He grabed my arm and said everythings allright.
I try to pull.. But i wont win this fight..
I try to scream as loud as I can..
He hits me.. And says he won't be a very nice man.
He puts a blindfold over my eyes..
I shouldn't have told mom all those lies..
Now no one will ever find me..
No one will know that I got raped and killed behind that tree..
But I still thought I could make it.. Well i thought I might..
So I kicked and screamd and did all i could to make a fight.
He lost his grip and I pulled free.
I tried to run.. But i couldnt see..
I tried to hide behind that tree..
But like I said I couldnt see..
My eyes were blinded and my hands were tide..
And all I did was to sit there and hide.
Soundless tears fell down me cheek..
Why did I fall victim for this freak.
I could hear him now.. Not so far away..
I stopped breathing and didn't know this was my last day..
Then he found me and gave me pain.
Then he raped me and yes this man was insane..
My tears never stopped their flood..
And they got mixed up in my blood..
Then the man stopped and i thought he was done.
But that man had no heart..Nope..NONE!
Cu'z he then killed my broken little body..
And he left me there all dirty and bloody..
Months and years passed but no one ever found me.
And the man that I got killed by was still alive and walking free..
The cops stopped searching a long time ago..
And do you wanna know my last two words? They were "Please...No.."

That's so sad. :/
It's really touching and haunting, b'cos it hits on one of my worst fears.
If I wasn't all cried out from watching Concrete Angel, i'd be in tears.

It's terrible to think that someone would even do something like this, tainting a young child's innocence, taking her life. And then getting away with it.. it's discusting.

Yeah I know.. I have no clue how I managed to write this.. It really scares the crap out of me.. When I wrote it I thought of this kid named Ängla That means Angel.. She got killed and raped on her way home.. It was her first time walking home alone i think too.. And then this man stopped and picked her up in his truck and raped and killed her and there was this big search after her a long time and then the found her burrid I think in a ditch.. All people in Sweden mourned for her a long time..

That's so terrible :/ Oh God. It makes me angry people are able to even do that. How tragic.

That aside, it's a really great poem (: Very touching.

These were the extent of the suggestions i was going to make, barely much at all:

behing that tree - made a typo on behind

fell victim should be - Fall victim

insain - spelled insane

my tears never stopped to flood - sort of doesn't convey a proper meaning, perhaps you would like to replace with, my tears never stopped their flood?

Excellent poem, however tragic.

quite sad and well written. I write alot so i know how it feels when you start writing something like this. its as though your mind and sould form a distinct connection with the character. its as though you feel every bit of it.
Well at least for me.
and even so, reading gave quite a strong connection as well, which shows you did a good job of writing it.
