im not too sure personally, they are good graphically.... but the last one seems like a cry for money. something a film series does as it dies...
((the movie where they went and did what had caused everything in the first place, the others were great tho))

But I see what you are saying about movie series doing a prequel before they die. I enjoy some prequels though. I like seeing what caused us to get to where we are in the movie, though I honestly would prefer them to do the movies in order if they ever ask me  |

Oh it just is NOT fair!
I brought the Underworld DVDs out here to Ethiopia with me whilst I was working, and watched them this weekend wondering 'when is the 3rd one coming out' - and well, sod's law it came out while I am out here. Gutted!!!!
In terms of the filmes - generaly pretty decent, made a new story out of something fairly common and gave it an asthetic touch. Decent enough sound scores too. Agood modern action movie which didn't just rely on uber-teen-sexy-male leads and the usual crap.

woo seen the 3rd one on dvd today =) i like it was a good film in my eyes then again it shows boobies so it would get my rating any way. i hope they make another one to fill in the huge time line.

I thought the entire series was done really well. They usally extremly bad by the third installlment, but this was a great prequal.
