Sorry to be off topic slightly, but what exactly is the present day description of a lycan? "Vampires" (and I use that term lightly) don't turn into bats, sleep in coffins, and we are not immortal. So I'm pretty sure it's safe to say lycans don't turn into hairy beasts every full moon.

And can you please define "turn" for a lycan? What exactly happens? Besides, how old are you?

A Lycan, short for Lycanthrope, a.k.a. wolf man or were-wolf, is, in real life, some one whose spirit is that of a wolf. Their spiritual selves are not human, but animal. Turning mearly consists of them allowing this side of them to comepletly take control of them. If you can see their auras, their spiritual bodies, you can actually see it take the form of a wolf. There are all sorts of other kinds of were-beasts, the collective term being other-kin. The term consists of all creatures including those found in mythology. For those creatures that are currently found on earth, the term is Therianthrope (animal man).

Thank you PheonixNightengale for the clearer discrption. As for abe, I'm not trying to be rude, I'm just trying to understand this.
