I've been worried about this for sometime before revealing myself as the true vampire i am so i was hoping some of you could shed some light(noooooo) on this. Do gay vampires have to deal with the same prejudices in the underworld as humans do? Is there a support group someone could let me know about to help me slip in to the world i know i belong to.

i have been thinking about this myself, and was wondering the same thing - i have many gay friends (living and not), and they appear to face the same prejudices that our breathern suffered thousands of years ago.

i mean, it's hard enough to share our status as a vampire without the added pressure of also being gay. which i wonder is the first i should tackle?

are there any other gay vampires out there?

People are always prone to have prejudice. It's just nature. What's weird is that it's always hard NOT to have a prejudice against something. As a Christian I am taught to hate the sin not the sinner. I think many people take this the wrong way and hate the person more than the action. A lot of people put down the person themselves and hate them for what they do. People shouldn't like the action, but they should be fine with the person. That's the way I am.

The human race is a fail, with plenty of *******s. Vampires, as part of it, will obviously their share of *******s as well, so i believe gay vampires will have it worse than gay humans.
i know about prejudice, im black and went to an all white, mostly redneck middle and high school. Because of that, im far from prejudice of any sort

the only ones who have failed, are the ones who dont realize that everyone, no matter, what is a person. there are alot of people who arent. you just have to make sure to surround yourself with people that care about YOU. there are always gonna be prejudice people no matter what. but there will always be people who will stick up and defend you also.

Simply put it is just nature. Human, vampire or animal. Yes, even animals. Though they seem not to speak they speak every day. Leader of the pack puffs his chest up and states that he's the best and the rest are under him. That is just the way life goes.

Even though as the smarter ones on the food chain doesn't always mean that we are. All one has to do is look on the news and you will see this nature every day. The smartest ones are those that don't follow in those kind of foot steps. I my self have no problems with gays at all. It's also how one takes it.

I will add mit for being a white straight woman there are times I have been afraid of certain situations. Once had a gay friend take me to a bar. Her other gay friend didn't like me because I wasn't gay. I didn't belong in that bar. I've had black friends take me places and we'll I was not excepted because I was white. Then I've had arguments with friends because they didn't like some ones skin color, religon, or race, sexual desire and because how I thought (in other peoples deffense) have lost their friend ship. Then I didn't mind because a true friend wouldn't brake a friend ship over my thoughts.

Best thing I can say is for us not to be like that. Surround like jesus says to surround our selves with those that love us.

Since I am a human, I believe in my 21 years that Ive seen/experienced enough to say we are failures. As a whole, the human race pisses me off. violence and greed, racism and other prejudices... its enough to make me sick

I think the human race has its faults but not everyone should take the blame.
I have been discriminated against.Being a black female has its obstacles.Some idiots out there say im cursed twice!
Being female, some males out there think I have no other purpose in life other than hangin' on some guys arm like arm candy and laying on my back for him whenever he wants it.
And being black means many people think I fall into the category of being ignorant,loud,rude and a waste of sperm b/c they expect me not do anything in life.
I have seen the worst in people.
I have been said to act too "white".But how do you act white anyway?watever!

I think vampires are more open to things us humans are ignorant too!
