Well you guys all seem to be even more fascinated with vampires then myself.

Can you guys think of as many vampire inspired/themed bands and music that you possibley can. Was something that came up in a drunken conversation and I would like to know a little bit more.

The only one I know of is Blutengel. They are a wierd sort of darkwave I guess. It's synth music mainly, with vocals. seelenschemerz and the oxidising angel are my favourite albums thus far. Click here , this is their music page, listen to a couple tracks and see if you like it.

I would like to find more myself.

My Chemical Romance - Vampires (will never hurt you).
I think they used Vampires as a metaphor for people who try to 'suck you dry' and crush your spirits, but still. My Chemical Romance are very much influenced by horror.
Also, Legion of Doom's Destroy all Vampires (My Chemical Romance versus A Static Lullaby) is an amazing song. It's sort of a fusion of Vampires (will never hurt you), but with some Trione rap and a bit of trance. [:

The Misfits - Vampira is an epiccc song. Alot of their other songs have morbid-horror themes to them.

They're the only bands I can think of who have a slight connection with vampires. [:

Vampire Heart - HIM
Quite an obvious connection there, but it's still an absolutely beautiful song. Got goosebumps when I first heard it =)

Bloodletting - Concrete Blonde
This song is, for lack of a better word, groovy. Try and get the extended 7min version, as there are some shorter ones but the longest is the greatest. It's an alternative rock song, not very dark at all, but I could easily see Lestat grooving along to it.

A quick search in Google for 'Vampire Music' helped me out, there's really quite a lot out there.
