Any vamps still 'in the closet'?
I must admit, beyond the internet, my vampirism is anonymous. I've been in a longterm relationship for nearly two years with someone who has not got the faintest idea that I drain him of energy intentionally, that I harness the energy of those around me by the way I act, that I very much enjoy/need the look and taste of blood, or that I consider myself a hybrid vampire.
I feel so two-faced. But then again, I'd rather come out as 'gay' then have to come out as a 'vampire'. Not many people, especially my family, friends, and boyfriend.. would understand.
Anyone else in the same, or a similar situation? How do you cope?

Besides the internet only 6 people know I am a vampire but I choose them carefully plus if any of them blab all I have to do is print a vampire game rule sheet and say I am a super nerd lol.

there are a few that know outside of here...my brother, my boyfriend, and my best friend and her girlfriend know. but it wouldn't be the best of choices i'm sure to let others know too much. it's not considered very "professional" and that's my life.
