The only god that I seem to follow is the dollar. It defines what I can and cannot have. It provides security and brings me food, granted if I can perform the ritual of "buying". High-priests of this god demand that I work in the temple so that way I am contributing to the institution as whole. I'm working at accomplishing training so that way I can then accept greater tutelage and move up in the hierarchy.

Psychic vampires can also use the energy to protect themselves. I know of some that use it to form shields around their dwellings or loved ones along with using it in combat against foes that they would not be able to beat physically
