In realiity it would be impossible to shapeshift from oe form to another because in order to do so people would have to be able to rewrite their DNA, replace all of their protiens, wither gain or lose mass, and changing DNA to much can cause it to create errors and eventually kill the person. In mental realms anything is possible but in our reality vampires are no more mythical then you are.

I'm of the camp that anything is possible, but I've never actually seen any in the act of changing from humanoid to animal. However, I have seen and experienced some things which *may* have been physical shapeshifters (I believe for various reasons that they were lycans, and no, it was not a very pleasant experience).

What did you see, hun, that made you beleive this way?

Well, that is something of a long story....

I was working in California near Yosemite a few years back with a very close friend of mine. At some point we both began to sense that we were being tracked by something, a feeling that I was somewhat willing to chalk up to imagination at first. My friend claimed to have had experiences with lycans before, and that she believed this was what we were sensing. I didn't take her seriously, though, up until the point that I saw what appeared to be a bipedal, lupine/canine-like creature standing on the side of the road watching us drive past. (right. I'm still having a hard time believing it, even as I sit here writing it. I haven't told very many people, obviously. LOL) I'm not entirely certain what their interest in us was, if any. May have just been a case of coincidental path crossing. But I don't know.

ive even had dreams of wings and claws of a dragon

and to those who say things like "in reality" remember that reality only consists of what you see and experience. Many people on this earth don't believe vampires are part of "reality", but that doesn't make their belief correct now does it?
