Are light eyes a common vampire trait?
Just wondering if it's very common for vampires to have light colored eyes because on a different thread it sounded a lot like it. And do they change colors with moods? Mine do. You can tell I've been crying because they turn from gray-blue-green to icy blue.

Aye, I've noticed light blue eyes are a highly common trait among vampires, especially awakening vamps. And yes, color change is a noted trait among vampires, mainly due to moods.

when im calm my eyes are dark blue. but when i get angry my eyes turn ice blue almost white.

Aye, the temperature change that occurs with mood changes often affects the pigment of the eyes, causing subtle changes. It's when there are extreme drastic changes to the eye color that make people go, "FREAK." lol

well my eyes are normally light blue with an inner ring of yellow, some have said that its like looking at the sun in the sky, but when i distance myself from my emotions my eyes turn and icy blue but if i get mad my eye color starts to darken drasticly, and when i need to feed the inner ring of yellow grows outward

my eyes are green on the outside, and red-brown on the inside, the inside gets larger , it makes it seem my eyes turn red, but I know it is not, but other people say it is red

The reason they seem red is because, though they are colored red-brown close to the center, as it spreads outward and grows larger the brown pigment gets faded out next to the brigher red color, giving the illusion of being red. ^_^
