First vampire book ever read
Would have to be "Bloodsucking Fiends" then right after "You Suck" by Christopher Moore. Awesome books. Very funny.

The first book on vampires I read was 'The Vampire Armand' - Anne Rice, recommend by a friend because the roleplay we were doing was uncanniliy like the characters interactions in the book. After that I was even more hooked than before. =[

I read it after i watched ^interview with the vampire^...Until that time i hadn't heard about A.Rice.

It was a children's book called "Den Vesle Vampyren" in Norwegian. I'm not sure what it's called in English, or if it is translated to English at all, but the direct translation would be "The Little Vampire". I think I was 5-6 years old when my mum read it to me.
