Question about non-fiction vampire books.
Does anyone know any good non-fiction books on vampires? I was at my local bookstore and I couldn't find any that piqued my interest. So, I am going to order one, and before I did, thought I would ask for help on which ones are the best.
Thank you all so much for your time.

Thanks for asking this question. Hard to find, or should I say impossible? It's all fiction.

Look for a book called "Vampires In There Own Words". It has good information on real vampires.

Well, I try to suggest the (in my opinion) best books by the best writers which are renowned for their works:
Stephen Kaplan (founder of the Vampire Reseach Center), Augustus Montague Summers (a Catholic somewhat *g*), Dom Augustin Calmet (very open-minded priest for the 1745 time)
1) "Vampires Are" by Stephen Kaplan
2) "The Vampire, his kith and kin (forgotten books)" by Augustus Montague Summers
3) "Vampires and Vampirism" by Montague Summers
4) "Treatise on Vampires & Revenants" by Dom Augustin Calmet

The best book I've come across so far is 'The Psychic Vampire Codex' by Michelle Belanger. Trust me, even if you're sang or a practitioner of magick, or just someone interested in the field I can promise that you won't regret picking this one up. It goes over everything from awakening, to feeding techniques, to basic and advanced energy manipulation. Try looking in the new age section of the bookstore. That's where you'll find most of the literature on real life vampires.

Konstantinos - Vampires, The Occult Truth. A very factual and scientifically written book.
