Darren Shan.. my personal all time favorite vampire saga.
It's about a boy that goes to a special kind of circus called cirque du freak.
While attending the show, Darrens best friend Steve figures out that one of the people there is a vampire and want to become one himself.
However he gets rejected.
Darren on the other hand becomes one without actually wanting to become one himself, he did it to save his friend (why? you'll have to read)

He finds out about a difference in vampires, the ones who dont kill there victem(vampires) and the ones who do (vampanese)
He find out that there is a path for him.. all things seem to connect to him in a certain way. And Mr. Tiny has the most information about it, but he seems to enjoy the "game" to much

It'a a great read, It has 12 books and is absolutely addictive! (my personal opinion though =p)

I love those books!
They're my second fav. book series.
The Twilight series is my No. 1 favorite...

I also agree they are a wonderful collection. I have read up to 9 and starting on 10 tomorrow. But this is as I posted this I still haven't read the rest and I can't wait for the rest of the books for me to read. Suberb collection, thumbs up to Darren Shan.

I'll tell you 'there are a few twists in the end.. but you'll just see that 4 yourself ;p

has anyone started reading the new books he's bringing out.. I though it was called "Demonita" it's gonna be about 10 books long or so I have heared.. Really want those!>.<

Hmm... I read most of the Darren Shan Saga... But I never finished the series. One of these days I';ll just re-read the whole series, cause I kinda forget what happens.

The Darren Shan saga has a very good plot line and is very addictive to read, I couldn't put the book down until I was done with it. AniVamp when you find out the name of the new series let me know please.

Well the new name is called "Demoneta" and I have now finished the saga. It is very, in fact extremely hard to put the books down. I love these books and will be starting the other saga soon. I can't wait!
