In some cases, Pagans (Wiccans, or Witches) are considered to be Satanists. If this is what you mean, I can explain the ritualistic practices in more detail through private messaging. I'll do my best to explain the differences between the two here, though.
I'm sure you've seen movies and such in which satanists or 'dark witches' cast circles in blood to form a barrier to the spirits. This is a variation of the pagan tradition of circle casting to purify a ritual space. Candles are used extensively by both religions, but as I understand it, satanists use one large red focus candle to represent Satan himself, whereas pagans use two candles, one to represent the God (Sun) and Goddess (Moon). The pentagram, or the symbol of a 5-pointed star within a circle, has long represented paganism as a symbol for the sabbats and esbats, but has (as of late) been associated with satanism and other such worship of things 'that go bump in the night'.
I certainly hope this proves helpful. Let me know and feel free to ask me if you have any further questions or concerns.
