RE: Vampires and Body Temperature
we like anyone else maintain .. what is it.. 98.6... sometimes there are some issues with light sensitive... ive never heard of a vampire with clammy skin.. these are some of the things hollywood makes up in order to sell the appearance and the appeal. you could be sitting in a library, or riding in a bus or subway next to one and you would never know it. perhaps you might see a slight trace of difference.. or notice something they might be wearing that hints to something different.. possibly a feeling you cant quite grasp. but unless you ask them.. you will never know for sure

RE: Vampires and Body Temperature
interesting thread
body temperature... hum...
well, for what I know(experience) I know at least 5 or 6 vamps with body temperature like mine... I mean, a cold body temperature... I think that there in America you see body temperature in a different way that here, but I hope you know how to translate, because I don't...
Normal people, body temp usualy is 35.5º/36.0º
Mine and some vamps, usualy is 34.0º/34.5º... it is a little difference isn't it?
I just know that we, are not different from other people... if I didn't knew him, I wouln'd understand that is other vamp beside me, if he doesn't want it... lol

RE: Vampires and Body Temperature
My body temperature is about 5 degrees different than that of a normal persons. I'm always freezing, even in really hot weather. It's not just me thinking I'm cold either, my body is cold to the touch. I sometimes lose feeling in my fingers or toes because I'm so cold. I've taken to wearing gloves and slippers all the time in my house.

For Some Odd Reason Im Always Cold. I Dont Know If Its My Temp Or If Im Just Thin Blooded. The Doctors Dont Know Why Either. They Put Me On Stuff But It Stays The Same. So If You See A Blonde Short Girl With Lots Of Clothes On Durning The Summer, Its Me.

Haha. Sounds exactly like me. I'm kinda short, I'm blonde, and I always have jeans and a hoodie on during the summer.

RE: Vampires and Body Temperature
I seem to feel extremes more. If it's lower than eighty or so I'm freezing. But it can be 90 degrees outside and my skin is cold. I've never really understood it. My body temp itself is slightly lower but my skin sometimes feels ice cold even when the air around me is warm.

RE: Vampires and Body Temperature
My own temperature tends to be about 96 degrees F, and I overheat very very easily. I cannot be in temperatures higher than 80 or I will pass out.
My hands and feet seem to always be cold to the touch in the opinion of my friends, but I do not feel the difference.

RE: Vampires and Body Temperature
Same here. My hands and feet are constantly freezing, yet usualy I can't tell until someone tells me. If its less than 80, I'm cold. Even on days where it is 95+, my skin feels cold even though I'm warm. Everyone calls me a freak because of it, and I try to explain that I can't help it, but they don't understand and its not like I can tell them that its because I'm a vampire, because they'll think I'm crazy or something.

RE: Vampires and Body Temperature
A lower than average body temperature seems to be the norm for vamps. Mine is only a single degree below the average, but even so, I've found that dramtically affects how easy it is for my body to overheat. Even a single degree above or below 75f brings me outside my comfort level.
