Not asking for a web definition here I am asking the people of this forum to tell me in there own words what they would define Sanguinarian vampirism as

Sang vampires drink blood, the energy and the essence of their willing partner. pure and simple. we like the blood...whether it gives us a rush, or keeps us energized, without the blood some of the sangs i know, become lethargic and sick, they seem to get headaches out in the sunlight. sangs unlike psy vampires, have the physical need to drink blood.

Yeah, sangs drink blood and get energy from. But the perfection is to know how to take energy from everything - not only blood. Sure, the blood is the most energized thing, this is the LIFE energy.
But like Weasle said, many vampires become sick and lethargic without blood. It's very bad to be depended.
It took years until I learned to take energy from other things, but it is possible.
Do your life easy.

thats very true babe... but however thats not a sang vampire.. thats a psy.. sangs depend soley on blood for their energy, through drinking and not the taking of energy.

You're drinking blood for taking energy. You're not doing it just for fun. I mean, yeah, sure ... But blood is a LIFE energy and you need it for your life. VAMPIRE - the one who needs the energy of others. Sangs take it from blood, Psy - from other things. It's all about energy and power, dear, no matter what do you use.

I prefer blood too... The taste... The power... Mmm....

what i meant was, of course blood is energy, but its like a physical form, not like i dunno.. something intangable as psy feeding... *laughs* almost like .. the force

But please be aware, most Sang vamps have one or two personal doners that are tested for everything under the sun, are safe and willing. Taking in another persons blood is dangerous and shouldnt be done if you're not aware of their personal activities.

I dont know of anyone that actually 'bites' their doners- generally because a human bite is deadly*, and it can cause muscle damage. Most people use disposable razors or clean double edge knives.

* Human bites are in fact deadly if not taken care of properly. We've tiny bacteria that grows in our mouthes, generally hiding between our teeth. If you dont clean a human bit well, and keep it nice, dry and clean, it can cause the loss of limbs or your life.

honestly i havent drank in a while... lack of a steady donor...its just so hard now days to find someone willing to let you cut them open and drink their lives away *laughs*

You bring up a good point. Donors are excessively hard to come by. It is easier for Pys, as they can feed off of anyone and they don't need to have them tested. However, for us Sangs it's hard to find a donor that is willing. So, any ideas on where or how to find a good donor??? lol

Seeing this thread, just made me see how lifes great here in Portugal...
here vamp, satan or any goth activitie is un.welcome... but the small part(that is not so small as it looks), is really together so we always have donors... but the truth is that not all of us like to always being changing donor(like me), so sometimes we just have that old blood substitutes, like tomato juice, animal blood-I think that this, is really diffrent from human blood, so it won't feed you like human blood... (most of this is really... *no words* YUK!), and more... it can look weard but works for a little bit of time(at least for me) then you'll need to feed(from blood) because most of time you'll start to feel sick(if you feed from substitutes more than one month).

conclusion:. maybe this is all we are about. Sang Vamps. We can't be much time without feed that we get sick. And we are sensitive to what other people love(ex:.sun). We are excluded from society. we are different. we are better and stronger. AND I LOVE IT!!!
