I disagree, actually. I believe we all have different needs and that is what seperates us. There are some who can feed from both, and those are the ones I would agree are psis. But some are purely sang who have to suppliment that blood energy with pure psi when they can't get blood, but it does not absolutely satisfy the need for blood, the taste, the feel, the pure lifeforce energy of it. You forget there are those who can't psi feed as well, those who are purely sang and can only get that energy through blood. These are the instinctual vampires who react differently than others, more animlalistic and such on top of their normal vampiric habits. So how can you say vampires are all psi?

It is possible for anyone to learn to psi-feed. It is just energy manipulation. I consider myself sang, but because it is not possible to obtain the amount of energy I need through blood, I psi-feed and it is what my natural instict is when I have not fed and need it. I was a vampire for a long tim ebefore I realized it, and my body was sustaining itself through psi-feeding on those close to me. Sanguinarians who say they can only drink blood otherwise they will die, are ignorant. It should be a natural reaction of the mind and soul.

Aye, I meant to post about the learning to psi-feeding thing, but I was rather in a hurry, sorry. It is true everyone has the potential to learn energy manipulation, but there are those who either cannot or will not learn this form or use it over drinking blood. And there are those who crave blood, who cannot satisfy this need with anything but blood; not energy and substitutes only help for so long. These are the physical vampires, not the spiritual ones. Yes, they probably need the energy too, but also you must remember that there are also the genetic vampires who inherit (sp?) their vampirism either through an ancestor whose genetics have been dilluted, or those who believe in the vampiric virus that is passed through saliva or another form of "infection." It is believed these forms of vampirism alter the genetic structure so that the body requires another source of substance, and due to the animalistic and instinctual nature that is in the subconscious of any human, this often draws them to blood, or at least this is my opinion. So, why do you say every vampire is psi?

Sorry, let me apologize for highjacking this thread. I know this thread is for Sang group, and if you all would like to continue this debate, I'll open a thread and we'll do just that. No hard feelings, this is just a debate and we are all entitled to our opinions.

So I'm going to open a thread entitled "Vampirism Debate, are we sang or are we psi?" Look for it in General Vampirism. I hope we can continue this thread, it is enlightening.
