There are real vampires that drink blood, but not all vampires drink it. I'm a vampire, and I am one of the ones that drink blood. And there are no 'requirements' to be one, you can't just choose to be one you are born as one.

Real vampires are people who need to take in vital energy/prana/chi from sources besides food, often from other people. Most real vampires do not drink blood. Saguinarian vampires drink a few ounces from consenting donors, but it's the energy in the blood that they need. They don't live on just blood. Real vampires are mortal people who eat food like everyone else. Psychic vampires don't need to drink blood because they can feed directly from the vital energy/prana/chi of other people or from ambient energy. Sang-psi hybrids feed both ways.Real vampires are just born with this vital energy imbalance where they sort of leak energy. They don't turn other people into vampires (except sometimes as a temporary condition caused by over-feeding).- P.

I agree, well said Persephone. And that temporary condition caused by over-feeding is often referred to as sympathetic vampyrism. Caused most often by feeding too often or too much from a donor, the donor will begin showing "symptoms" of being vampyric, mainly their need for energy or, not-so-often, blood. This will manifest in many ways, and they display many of the signs vampyres often display when going through an awakening. The problem is that it is difficult to tell whether that person is actually awakening or if they have sympathetic vampyrism. My suggestion is to stop feeding from this person immediately, and if their system doesn't balance out after either feeding or being fed, then they may just be awakening. But, no one can tell someone they are awakening, they must decide for themselves.

So, yes, there are real vampires out there who drink blood, but we cannot "turn" anyone and there are no conditions that one can meet to become one. You simply are, or you are not. And those who aren't who pretend to be are wanna-bes who are desperate immature people seeking something to make their lives a little more exciting by posing as part of a large group of worldwide outcasts (let's face it, the world doesn't like us and they'll let us know in a hurry, often with a big flaming torch and crosses held high, lol).

In order for a vampiric soul to incarnate into a physical body, the soul must disengage from the prime energy source of our Universe, this makes the frequency at which the new body vibrates at extreme and thus the swift use of prana in order to stabilize itself and the need for more. There are no damaged Chakras so to speak as is usually thought.

It is possible for a human soul to be changed into a vampiric soul, but quite unlikely that anyone would know someone that could do this for them.
Awakening can be initiated by other vampires though.
