do you believe in vampires? if so, what is your definition of a vampire in real life?
im not talking about stupid myths and legends about stakes in the heart and sleeping in coffins. im asking if you actually believe that some sort of people worthy of being called "vampires" are actually walking among us. and if so, what do you think a person must be/act like to be considered a "vampire"? i have my own opinions on this topic, and i want to see if anyone else is thinking the same way. 10 points to the best answer. this should be easy.i think some of you arent understanding the question. im not talking about all of those stupid myths. a vampire doesnt have to be a person who sucks blood or a person who just calls themselves a vampire. im asking if there could possibly be another definition of one for you.

people who suck the energy out of you. you feel drained and empty after spending time with them... its like they crave your lifeblood, your inner happiness and leech it all out as much as they can, they can be sneaky about it too. if you feel drained after hanging out with someone, never, and i mean never ever hang out with them again!(mosquitoes also count! itchy itchy itchy!)

Ouch. First of all...No. I'm a Sanguine vampire. I drink blood. But from donors not helpless victims. We don't kill when we feed, there's no need to. We're not evil. We're not supernatural. We're not out to "drain your lifeblood, your inner happiness and leech it all out." We're faster and slightly stronger. But that's because of adrenaline. That's all. Holy icons don't affect us. That's just stupid. Sunlight is only a minor irritant. Don't bash us before you know who and what we are. Then bash us, but we bash back. Silver? Nope. We're practically normal but with differences. Same thing only different.

Hmm, let me see. I see human living vampyres as being just that, humans with an added condition to them that makes it necessary to seek a source of sustanence other than food or water to keep them healthy, both mentally and physically. I agree with Wray a little here, I'm both sanguine by nature and psychic by desperation; what this means is that I am sanguine primarily, yet psychic energy feeding will sustain me until I can take in the blood I need. And as for blood feeding, we don't need an extrodinary ammount, we only need a little bit every so often regularly to keep us on a healthy basis. Now, some vamps require more or less blood, it all depends on the person and their habits. We use willing donors who donate their blood or energy to us, we don't steal this blood or energy from someone who doesn't want to give it to us. As for being faster and stronger, I'm not much faster or stronger than the next guy, but I do have a stronger adrenaline rush, it seems, because when I'm attacked I don't feel anything, and I do heal slightly faster if I focus on it, but that would probably be more magick than vampyrism, I'm not sure. As for sunlight, it hits me hard, especially during the summer. It doesn't fry me to a crisp or burn me to ashes, but it does drain me something awful, and I have to walk everywhere I want to go, so yeah, I'd say the sun affects me. That probably has to do with energy, the sun being the most powerful source of energy in our galaxy, I believe it's energy sort of pushes our energy from us, or makes our energy bodies "sweat" our energy out and leaves us energetically dehydrated. That's my personal theory, though. Silver is nothing to us, no more than the next average person. I actually like silver over most metals, I won't wear most anything else. I believe this myth comes from the fact that silver is supposedly pure and anything pure can destroy the "undead," as vampires were called.
So, did I miss anything? Let me know, or message me if you have any more questions.

Aye, most people won't or don't admit to believing in the immortal vampires. It limits thinking to believe in one thing but not in another. It's all in the perspective of the person.
