To me vampires are those that need prana either from blood (sang) or ki/chi energy (psi)
some are sensitive of the light, I feel that some of us that take to much when feed can make us monsters we tend to want something more. We live our lives jut as mundanes our beliefs come from the same place some of us may change as we live, there is no proof of immortality but i believe its possible. holy items do not kill us, as for me I love crosses and old holy artifacts. I really dont know what else to say about it

So I'm one of the few that believe in immortality. But not in the sense of the myth but as believing in reincarnation immortality of the soul is automatically embedded what means not immortality of the flesh.

But this is just a point of view or what you believe in :-)

And to the question itself: I can state most of the previous. Vampires aren't "immortal" in the Hollywood-sense. They don't live in coffins and just can have a normal job or family. They have only little effect to sun or heat if they don't suffer from porphyria like me. Of course they prefer night to day but it makes no great difference. They can't be killed by pulling a stake through the heart or being decapited....(by the way: decapitation kills usually everybody and piercing the heart as well...lol). Crucifixes and garlic is no problem, as well as holy water and hosts...and we can all visit a church, march on holy ground and attend a sermon. What else....concerning gifts it is different...but they are not the same as in Hollywood protection and we can't turn into bats and fly around. But you need some gift when you are a psi to drain the energy out of someone. As a sang you don't need necessarily but need donors that you can be sure of because of blood diseases like AIDS etc. Best is some friend or relatives if possible and to insist on a blood test. What else to say?

My understanding of the theory is like other stars they have studied. The sun runs is powered by almost perfect fusion, almost. It eventually burns out over millions apon millions of years, when it gets to a certain loss of energy it begins to cool down which causes a reaction and it expands into a super giant (which would engulf our planet) or a red giant or some giant turns, basically energy surges out and then it implodes and creates a black hole, we will have been incinirated before the black hole part do to the proximity of our planet. Either by the heat or just by the actualy side of the planet touching us ( well the energy preceding it would destroy us but I'm pretty sure the sun will grow to such a size its perimeter will be past the location earth is currently in.
