(: I think Werewolves are underrated. Some people should write some more books about them. How come there are zillions of books written about vampires but not many written about werewolves?

I have been taught that any & all Therians only shape-shift in the the other Planes of Existence, that it is not possible on the Physical Plane, the Lycans and Otherkin that I know verify this.

I am a therian wolf, so yes, we do shift mostly in the astral sense, it is what seperates us from our lycan cousins; they physically shift while we only do a mental and/or spiritual shift.

Here's a question on their shifting, can they localize a shift, or is it just their entire body all at once? Like, could they shift their hand or arm by it self without changing the rest of their body?

I can't help but disagree with this, it is physically impossible to shape shift in the Physically. I would like for once to see this done, a video anything. Don't you think if it were truly possible it would have been recorded by now and made headline news?
