Okay, I log vampires into 3 main types: sanguine, psychic, and immortal. Sanguine vampires are the blood drinkers, the vampires who can only get their sustanence through blood of others or animals. Psychic vampires are those who feed directly off the energy of others and from nature or other energy resources. And Immortal vampires, these are the most disbelieved form of vampirism and they are the most rarely seen in the Online Vampire Community.
Now, from Psychic vampires we have sub-types: pranic, elemental, sexual, and empathic. Pranic psychic vampires feed only from the lifeforce of others or animals, needed this energy to sustain themselves. Elemental vampires can feed from storms and the elements or other natural forms of energy (with the exception of pranic for the sake of seperating these sub-types). Sexual vampires, also known as succubus/incubus, are just as the name describes; they feed from sexual energys of others, whether during intercourse or through sexual play or manipulation. And finally, the empathic vampire feeds directly from the emotions of others, and they excell at influencing these emotions into a form of energy they need; these are the ones written about as psychic vampires who seem to "attack" emotions; they require a certain emotion and so they will often influence this emotion to satisfy this need. It isn't evil to do so, we are all subject to our needs, yet morallity should be expressed with each of these forms of vampirism no matter how deep the need.
