"The Psychic Vampire Codex" is good for starting out with energy work and aiding with the process of awakening, but "The Psychic Energy Codex" is good for developing your sensitivity to energy. If you're not innately sensitive to energy, then the energy codex is the better book to start with, then move on to the vampire codex. You can find them both online and in the new age section of the bookstores.

Yup. I had to special order it myself. Looked all over and couldn't find the energy codex anywhere. The vampire codex is easy to find, but the energy codex is apparently too new for the bookstores to keep them in stock. I'm about halfway through the book right now. It's very interesting. It works with you from a level of zero understanding of energy to being able to fully work with it. So far, I love it.

You talking about Sacred Texts? That's the original version of the Codex, but it's been seriously updated since then.

Energy work is unique as in there is not particular way to explain it, reguardless of any books you read. Reading them however will help your sub-consious mind learn different aspects about how energy works. To call any energy book bogus is like telling someone that speaks another language that they dont really speak that language. They learned that language in their own way and for their own reasons.

Do not let others tell you that you shouldn't do something while working with energy. Do what feels right to you - let your imagination be your guide, and never quit practicing whatever it is and however you do practice. Your mind will make it reality for you first, and then gradualy you may be able to show others.

Sorry, I thought that was it. I swear though I had a free e-book that was the psychic codex cause I know I've read it and it's not in my library. Hmm. Oh well sorry I couldn't help more. If you're interested in reading really old esoteric and religious stuff in general that site has tons and tons of really old translations. It's a great site anyway.
