I come across this term on numerous sites. Now, I know what it is, but what I'm wondering is, how does it work? What do you do when you deep feed? Do you visualise it? Do you 'suck' the energy out in some way? And what is the difference (in feel) between surface feeding and deep feeding?

i've never heard of it before. but now i wanna know what it is too......

Ok... so here's what I found.

There are three different types or levels of feeding.

-Ambiant feeing- feeding off the energy of a croud, group, or room.
-Surface feeding- feeding off the energy of a specific persons, astral or or etheric energy.
-Deep feeding- feeding off a specific persons core soul energy. A more personal and intimate feeding from a donor. With deep feeding, the vampire reaches further into the core of the donor's prana or life-force. Deep feeding over extended periods with the same donor can cause a strong connection between vampire and donor such as deeper empathy, telepathy, connected dreams and emotional/spiritual dependency.

But how does it work? What do you do when you want to deep feed?

Ok, I've done some research on this. It seems to me that deep feeding is almost like being in love, or making love on an internal, emotional, mental level. Using sex as an example....anyone can **** just as anyone can technically be a donor. But when theres a deep connection between the donor and vampire, deep feeding can occur just as making passionate love can occur. A great Sanguinarian example is a scene from Bram Stoker's Dracula when Dracula, played by Gary Oldman, makes a slit in his chest so that Mina, played by Winona Ryder, can drink his blood and become a vampire herself. I believe this scene conveys a sort of deep feeding and the deep connection of the two characters is portreyed well.

So in summery, I believe deep feeding is the "love making" of the vampire feeding world whether you're a Sanguinarian or a Psi.

Yes, all movies aside, it depends on your connection with that person and your state of mind while feeding. If you drank from your best friend or lover, you will most likely be deep feeding, because you know so much about that person and your connection to them is much greater than that of anyone else.
