i was just enjoying and feeding from an amazing thunderstorm and wanted to know how many others are elementals like myself. how many others feed from the lightening, thunder, raging winds and rain? i get my strongest energies from the elements of the earth.

Even though I am a sang I also feed from other energies. Thunder storms have always been my favorite. When I was a child, long ago, my father and I use to sit out side and watch them rumble. Oh, how I like that eerie feeling that one gets when sitting in the middle of a thunder storm. There are times when it is pooring down rain and I'll walk into the rain and just stand there looking up into the sky. Letting the rain fall upon my face.

oh Alexandria, i know that feeling all so well. my father and i were the same. i still to this day walk out and dance and enjoy the rain falling against my warm skin. to watch the lightening strike all around me, sending energy speeding through my veins. i once worked on a farm in the middle of the summer tending to the crops. it was excrutiatingly hot and had not rained in weeks. we needed rain soon to keep the crops growning, but there seemed to be no hope. one day as we stood exhausted from the extreme heat, i tried to imagine it raining as hard as i possibly could. within minutes, a beautiful storm brought days worth of rain down upon us...through the sun lit sky. it was an amazingly beautiful moment. it was one of my favorite storms to date.

I too feed from storms, which is one reason which I like them so much, it amazes me on how such a simple process like a storm can have such a major effect on everyones lives.

Thunderstorms are amazing and perhaps one of the greatest things i have ever seen was a thunderstorm during a snow storm

I feel great comfort when thunderstorms arise, or I hear the howling of the wind.
I feel a great, exciting energy within me.

i agree with everyone here. just to hear the howl of the wind, or the rain falling upon the roof brings a surge of energy through me. i have even gone to stand out in the middle of the hurricane before just to watch the sheer power with my own eyes...however it was when the eye was coming through so it was much calmer. (i'm not completely insane to walk out in 160 mph winds). but speaking back to Abe, i must say that would be something truly amazing to see.

Thunderstorms are nice when you're curled up on the sofa with a cappuccino
and your cat, infront of a warm fire, when it's freezing cold outside. ^____^
And they're also nice when you're out walking at night.

I know this has nothing to do with vampirism, but I am a Witch, and I feel more powerful during a thunderstorm, and I have also noticed that when I do
spells during a thunderstorm, they are MORE powerful.
