Aye, I agree, EVH, and you must also consider that the term "vampire" has also been misconstrued so much over the years through the media, from Bella Legosi to Bram Stoker's Dracula, all the way through Underworld and similar vampire movies. And let's not forget novels, Anne Rice and those that take that route in that genre. So when you say you're a psychic vampire, they start thinking, "Oh god, they've lost their mind." Or those that believe you start asking if you can turn them into an immortal undead super-powerful being by biting them, >_<. That is one of the main problems we face as a Community is the misconceptions on what it means to be a real vampire in today's society. We have to struggle not only to try and teach others, but to unteach what society has built up in people's minds.
