I've recently become interested in remote viewing (the trained ability to acquire accurate direct knowledge not available to the ordinary physical senses, of things and events or 'targets' — distant in time or space, in the past, present, or future. [taken from www.remoteviewed.com]) and I seemed to draw some success from it and accuratly describe the house of one of my friends that i've never been to before.
I was wondering if anyone else had experiences in this and if so, would they share what has happened and if they have any means of training it?)

This is alot like precognition or foresight but sounds cool. Asteral projection is also a good way to mental see things anywhere something is, was, or will exst.

I practice Astral Projection. Also, I have had dreams of flying, so I think I must have astral projected when I had those dreams. Astral Projection and Remote Viewing are pretty much the same thing.

No, remote viewing and astral projection are two different things. Astral projection is the projecting of the spirit to the astral plane. Remote viewing is the projecting of your consciousness across time and space in the physical realm. You're seeing things in this realm, not the astral plane, so therefore the cannot be the same thing.

I've done a little work with both, and one experience with RVing was that I saw my grandma's house and her watching TV, and next time I talked to her I asked her how her show was (I forget what show it was, it was almost 5 years or so ago, lol). She kinda freaked, asked how I knew, so I told her a small fib about coming over or something. She didn't question it, she hates dealing with things she can't explain, lol.

So yeah, I've seen that the best way to develop RVing abilities is to practice and meditate; they are key. Good luck, and I hope you share more of your experiences and trials and errors with us, ^_^

Well the thing is is that asteral projection translates or means to project the spirit. Not to say there arent different kinds of asteral projection but it doesnt mean that they have to go to another plane. Any way I said it was like asteral projection the difference is that AP is projecting the spirit so it can wonder and RV is instant projection to a location of the concious mind.
