You won't automatically get a US passport and the US unlike the EU is VERY serious about marriages for EVERY reason - you will have to apply for a visa, then you will also have to live in the US for a period of time being gainfully employed (longer than in the EU- and it STILL depends on the EU country- not all of them only require 1 year of marriage!) and you will have to apply for a green card and reside permanently in the US for 5 years before being eligible to gain American Citizenship.
