to be honest i have no clue how life started to me it was with the big bang theory, not only did it create the universe but along with it created the life there is today.

That is a good way to look at it. There are some many different ways to explain how life started. I some times think it is hard for a person to desided for him or her self.

To play philosopher, why is it that there has to be a "beginning." The logic of a beginning to "everything" comes with it's own inherent problems, such as what was there before the beginng, can "nothing" exist? Nothing existing is a strange contradiction don't you think. I know we are all used to linear timelines, for one thing because human life appears to be that way, born, grow, live, die (to be blunt), sort of thing. And i spose our world seems to show alot of linear progression. But perhaps everything that is always was and it just shuffles and reconstitutes from time to time or in a progression that makes things seem to go from beginning to end from the perspective of a single thing in the context of it's own life span.
From the context of this "everything always existing" it is applicable to god and big bang type ideas. For example say that everything was "god" and say it decided to re-experience everything in infinite possibility - or that it needed to in order to actually fulfill the purpose of being everything or knowing everything and being itself, say it then (but i guess it simultaneously would have to be doing all of this at once, what i call "instantaneous eternity" where every piece of existence and "time" is happening in the same space overlapped eternally, i guess you can say on different planes all intersecting, thus all the possible crossovers and different perceptions) created universes and lives and things to experience from a different slice of its perception and see what it could experience and see if it could then see the reflection of itself in everything.
Or another theory is that "god" wondered if he had the power to destroy himself and the by product created the "big bang" or whatever and universes and resulted in a byproduct of fragmented conciousness and life and i guess you could think of this god mind reforming as our conciousness evolves and comes back together, which kind of fits with the progression of the mind of humanity and its beliefs and ideas and what sciences thinks about the evolution of universes, planets and life, and what religion thinks of creation, thought and end times/armageddon type scenarios.
Need clarifications, just quote what needs to be clarified and ask me and i'll see what i can think of. This was a combination of things ive been contemplating for years and what i just thought of in response to a question this topic and particularly the religion based answers stated. Mostly it was what i just thought of now mixed with previous ideas and contemplations alone and in the company of others.
So what do we think.
And in addition im not trying to discredit anyone or assert that i "know the answer" if there is one. It was an idea, that i find interesting and i hope was fairly logical. Although it was just typed as i thought, so it may seem a bit conviluted. But this is how i write most of my thinking, i my brain connect to my fingers and i see what comes out as i experience it.

Wow, that was amazing in its accuracy in my mind. It feels like a very good and sound theory when viewed through what I know of the progression of the spirit and how we all seem to be "going somewhere" as far as our lessons and trials and tribulations throughout each of our lives. I will keep this in mind when I theorize about the Universe and its infinite possibilities, ^_^. Look, I think I found something new to add to my encyclopedial of knowledge, lol.

Of course, good knowledge and wording such as that deserves the proper praise, lol. ^_^ As for anything to add, let me share a quick rundown of my philosophy. I believe there are multiple realms of existence, that each time we encarnate our spiritual bodies take up a physical body in accordance with that realm. I beileve also that we may travel the other realms in spirit form, that our power and energy come from our spirit and that with each lifetime we go through lessons and tests, yet only the overall spiritual growth matters in the end, because the physical body is never the same and the simple things of life that stress us are not important and don't deserve our attention enough to cause us negativity. I believe in the God/Goddess, the duality of the male and female energies, and in the gods and goddesses of each realm and plane (I call them plane lords and ladies, chosen by their realm when it is created). Okay, that's all I got for now, I'm packing and moving so I'll be on and off for a while. Take care all!

Well, I've experienced spiritual travel, I've moved throughout the Great Halls, through the Veil, I hold past life knowledge that seems as real to me now as when it happened ages ago. I hold the memories of my dragon spirit as well. Mostly, I can only speak from my experiences as to what I know of the Universe and its many realms. I gather knowledge each lifetime and store it away. Sorry, just got finished moving and I'm really tired, so that's probably why this isn't as detailed as I usually post, lol. >_<

What do the memories of your dragon spirit entail?
