I'm not sure if it's so much in the blood as it is in the mind. One thing that we do know is that most people only you what three five percent of their brain. Who knows what the mind is able to do.But for blood I believe it has energy in it like any thing else. Energy that we need to survive on. That blood can come from any where. I do know , if I come close to spelling it right, a thing call adrillian, its in the thyrode and produce chem when emotions are high. It can make a person five times stronger but only for moments. In those cases some hear of storys of mothers who lift the front half of a car to get the car off her child. things like that. But when you come down from the rush I'm pretty sure the mortal body does feel it.

I never said it had a magical protein in it that turns people into superhumans. I'm saying it may have given them more strength. "super-powers" wouldn't be the correct word. I would just say it was extra strength. Not a "super-power" where we will be able to lift a car with our index finger. You do have a point about blood being present in us all. What the theory is, is consuming more than the needed amount. Of course, it is dangerous to consume too much blood at one time. If you exceed, I think this is the amount, 3 pounds of blood, it will all go to your spleen and cause it to swell. Then you just might as well have it removed. So, I think it's good for the body, because it's completely natural... And being totally natural would definately help our immune system, strength, brain production. etc. It doesn't contain all the chemicals used in foods humans tend to eat today.

to be honest its a forgone fact everyone has blood! i dont see how you could injest 3 pounds of blood any more than 1 pint and you puke to stop it cloting in your stomach.

We use 100% of our brains. Different parts at different times. But only a total of 3% at any one time or the energy used to reset the neurons that fire in out brains when we think would overload us and our brains wouldn't be able to handle it.
And, yeah, I think it all comes down to adrenalin. I'm not sure blood-drinking effects our skills/strengths. Either that or, like you said, it's psychological.

I think first the use of 'magic' is inaccurate and causes a misconception.
Apologies if any of this has been said previously, justa few thoughts on teh initial query/idea.
Now, we believe that pre-cognition and evolution has developed both major and minor, yet significant differences between groups of people, whether its an imbalance within the brain with one lobe large than another, or simply that someone has dark skin over white skin due to genetic alterations caused through environmental factors. It is these minor, subtlties which cause the greatest interest in modern evolution.
Blood by its very nature contains both positive and negetive genes, proteins, salts, oxygen OR CO2, depending upon whether you hit an artery or a vein (in basic terms). What I think is that whilst someone may have to feed of human/animal flesh and develop heightened senses based upon their environment thre is no telling that its down to the consumption of blood contained within the animal they are consuming.
However, that is not to say - as hilighted very well earlier - that the purity of consumption benefits the body in terms of its metabolism, carbohydrate/protein/fibre intake. As a result you would naturally get fitter, stronger, healthiersince also blood and meat in a pure sense would potentially contain anti-bodies to disease never previously encountered by the individual.
Im not saying your threory is dead in the water (pardon the pun) but that its a simple case of environmental development, purity of diet and evolution (short or long term) which does cause a number of apparent unique situations. I would like to stress however that I am not dismissing your idea out of hand, as I can see where your train of thought is headed.
I hope the above made sense - I've readit back and it appears to, but I could be totally wrong

I really like how you have put all of that and it does sound correct. Interesting.

I'm sorry if some people don't get this but its the mechanic in me talking, the body is like a well built engine, you need to keep it in check like you would your own body, watching how much you eat, how much exercise you get, sleep, sun, etc. Though when we feed its like adding more "gasoline" to our bodies, therefore allowing us to do more.
