oh yeh, thats a gd point, becasue its whether you choose to believe in someyhing that you achieve it, or something along those lines. We arent necessarily damned.

souls, spiritual advancement, heaven or hell, nervana, what ever... its an ideal bassed on one thing. going some place good for being good or trying to be good.
even vampires have souls, even the ones that dont believe in gods or god.
the truth is there are two worlds, the mortal world we live in now, an the spirit world that most everyone will visit from time to time or if they are not a vampire get to stay in and move on to higher plans from there.
Why do i say that? from what i know of myself, and a few others very much like me in my vampirism, we do not move beyound the mortal world. we are bound to it, and have no hope of ever leaving it.
this is not to say we do not die, on the contary, we die like everyone else, just as easily. the differance is we are reborn again as men / woman, and have to do it all over. the differnance between us and mortal men is that we rememeber all our lifes, good, bad, or ugly. we retain in each life our dependance on living energy from others, and have the hightend gifts that each of us share or have alone.
is there a here after for vampires, no. just an etarnal return to this world, over and over again. forced to relive our lives, never finding a way out to the "here after", heaven, or hell, or where ever it is you beleive souls go. that is not for us.

I agree with a couple of people, first i believe in reincarnation (even though my religin says we don't). I think it is all about how you live your life, if you lead it as a "good" person/vamp then you will be reincarnatied, if you want, other wise you will go to heaven. If you lead it "bad" then you are going to hell. (not saying any of you are or i am If you lead a bad life then you don't get the chance to be reincarnated or go to heaven, it is just to hell, inless your sorry for what you have done. abe corvinus (every one has the chance to get into heaven), PhoenixNightengale (that good can't exist without evil (Yin and Yang)) these are my thought and feelings on life after death.

I offer this thought:

Do not be so concerned with preparing for your death and existence hereafter, it would be better to expend more energy on exploring what you are at present, cultivating and nurturing that which you are, not that which you will become.

Corporeal limitations dictate that none born into the flesh may know for certain what is to become of thier conscious selves after their worldy bodies die. Given this I am not advocating that faith is irrelevant and a waste of time. Quite the contrary actually, the fact that none may know for certain yet still lust for the knowledge affirms that it is more important to have faith than seek an answer that can not at current be given. Possessing knowledge and having faith are two very different things.

To wrap things up, even though every conscious soul bearing anima exihibits curiosity to that which exists after the immediate is inescapable, it is better to spend more time exploring what it is you have been given and to explore it without fear or regret. Have and explore your faith, but do not let it cloud your ability and freedom to explore every facit of the life which you have been given.

Know that i do not speak in truths only possibilities. I hope i have offered food for thought.
