I would like to know everyones thoughts on lycans, if they exist and if our kind and their kind can co-exist

i did not know about lycans before i came on this forum
i searched on the internet and find out that Lycan is the name of a fictional race in the movie "Underworld" (i did not see the movie ) but as you describe it is a werewolf

i will try to find the movie and see it one of these days so i can se what are you talking about
i personally did have only minor conflicts with werecreatures untill now
besides these movies is there any old legends about werewolves and vampires being rivals ?

If they do exist (which I think they do) of course they can co-exist with vampires. Apart from the fact about there being nothing to do even if you can't deal with each other, everyone should be able to live in harmony. It's not always the case, but it should be. Umm.. and I think they, I read it somewhere on here actually, have a mental transformation. They don't go around covered in hair and climbing up trees etc, just like vampires don't turn into bats. They sort of mentally transform. But I don't know fersure. But, hm, yeah. Interesting question. (:

yes your are right the name "lycan" did come from that movie. but werewolves have been called lycans for a long time. most of the vamps i know tend to co-exist with the werewolves but do to personal reasons i have a problem with them. as a far as a legend about a war between the two, i personally have never heard of one.

I understand having a 'grudge' against one individual, or several even. But hating an entire race for the mistakes of a small minority is a bit unreasonable. I knew a guy who hated Spanish people because his mother cheated on his father with one. He's in hospital at the moment with a couple of fractured ribs, a broken nose and a load of other crap 'cause he decided to pick on a group of people for being Spanish. So, I 'spose the message behind that little 'anecdote' is either a) don't hate a whole group of people based on your perception of one person or b) don't **** with large groups of spanish people. (:

I dont mean why you didnt like them. I know that and I'm sorry for that. But you said that others were friends for personal reasons. Like what?
