Depending on what you believe in it can be a world to where just about any thing can be at. It's like making your soul leave your body to go into a world where spirits and the living can meet with each other. It's not heaven, nor hell, or the tree of life. Though some believe if I'm correct that you can travel on the tree of live to get to this place in meditation.
