I have noticed alot of our kind talking of how they hate mortals. Now the question i propose is a simple one. Should we enslave mortals or let them coexist with us and why?

No, Why? Simple because through out history we have seen the down fall of enslaving other kinds. To put them under our boot would be no more right them us under their boot. In that idea that means any humanoid creature. Vampire, mortal, or even lycan. In each of them their is a danger that each wants to rule over each other. None should rule over any. I've seen too many wars over such things. To enslave one of them would one be the start of a war that will come even if it takes a hundred years.

Do people not understand? 'Mortals' are the reason your house has electricity and you have a roof over your head. I'm sorry if I upset you by saying this but vampires are in no way a superior race. They have certain advantages but so do mortals. You talk as if mortals are nothing but food/slaves. Have you not considered how much they contribute to your society? Let me see.. Einstein, Bill Gates, The Pope, The Dalai Lama, Nelson Mandela... all mortals. Without them, where would this planet be? Einstein in particular.

Mortals have just as much of a right to live in freedom as you do. To enslave them would not only be impossible but also ironic and stupid.

Seriously, though, I wouldn't want any enslavement, and I also agree with harriettt, I just get so frustrated and angry with humans that I need to vent, and when I do it ends up sounding like a, "Let's kill all humans or put them at our feet," kinda rant, lol. I can't help it, they frustrate and amaze me, and at the same time scare me with their fantical idiocy. Not talking about the open-minded humans who understand and accept our society. I only mean the ones who are out there who see us and mock our very existence. Those who take what we are and make a game out of it, playing with our feelings and dragging us through the coals.

Enslavement of one would just eventually result in - as pointed out - uprising and resentment.
I appreciate peoples anger, annoyances and frustrations, however these can be said by so many other groups within society from religious groups to sexual ones. Imagine if the whole world was Gay or the whole world was under 1 religion or the whole world was Vampiric?

Society by its very nature finds a way to rebel, either genetically to survive or mentally to stimulate change. Without change, cohesion, and 'living among different groups also opens up OUR minds to education, ideas, views and action.
