Honestly I can't tell the difference between spiritual entities myself. I've dealt with some pretty powerful entities, and the only difference I can make out is the temperature of their energy. Most of the time the energy is cold, but a few times the energy was as warm or even warmer as a living person's. But I've always dealt with them in the same manner every time. I haven't had a situation where I've needed to ask a spirit to leave. Every time I've encountered one myself it either runs off on it's own, doesn't bother me, or it attacks me or someone else. Usually I do nothing unless it attacks someone, then I kill it off by draining it.
