hello there sorry it took me awhile to get back.. And I must say thank you ^^ You are to kind!

I'm Scottish and Ruthenian.

I get along better with foreigners than I do Americans. Many on the forum here that are outside of the US (mostly Europeans) tell me I'm only an American by birthright.

Russian and Serbian will be my main language focal points for the FSOT. I'm Slavic by heritage and so I'll be leaning on that.

Very true. Unfortunately, my boyfriend of 6 years doesn't like the idea of embassy work. He doesn't want to live outside of the US. My first two assignments would be 2 years a piece in a foreign country. I don't see why he wouldn't like it! Being able to live in another country as a US citizen for 2 years and I get paid decent. The embassy helps him find work as well..they pay for the move..and we get to travel on the US while I help make better relationships with foreign countries, because I want to do Public Diplomacy which as the say is the "face" of the US (and US Embassy) for the that host country.

Hehehe.. it's ok. I ended up getting tired up at work and falling behind with conversations on the forum.

I'm a bookkeeper who's in school for international business. I do real estate investing on the side along with network marketing. I'm preparing myself for the FSOT (Foreign Service Officer Test) over the next two years while I finish my bachelors (cause I'll enter at a higher pay grade with it as an FSO) and learning a couple of Slavic languages so I can do embassy work.
