Lost Boys: The Tribe
I remember seeing the first "Lost Boys" upon it's release, and really enjoying it. Well, now, there is a sequel coming out. It is called "Lost Boys: The Tribe" and looks like it will be a solid sequel to the original film. It picks up several years after the first film left off, where a man named Chris Emerson and his younger sister, Nicole, move to the shady surf town of Luna Bay, California, which happens to be the home of a group of vampires. When his sister falls for one of them, Chris finds help in the form of the Frog Brothers, who have grown up to become the leading vampire hunters in the world.
What's great about this is that both Corey Feldman and Jamison Newlander are reprising their roles as the Frog Brothers, and Corey Haim is also set to appear in the film reprising his role of Sam Emerson. The trailer, newly released on MTV, can be viewed here.
What do you think? I think it looks good.

Just a quick update:
The premiere of the film is occuring on July 24th at Comic-Con 5 days prior to its DVD/Blu-Ray Release.
As you know it follows the story of Michael and Star's children as they move to a californian town to face vampires headed by Kiefer's half brother Angus

I liked this film. However, I felt like certain aspects of it were just rehashes of the first movie. It felt like a remake to me, but it DOES prove that Feldman and Haim can still act. Now lets see them in new roles.
One thing that I found was really cool was they made an allusion to the previous movie with the saxophone player nearly at the beginning of the movie, which for anyone who remembers the first film, there is a sax player dressed EXACTLY like this one playing a concert. Looks like the dude almost 100%, just 15-20 years have been added or so.
LOVED the cover of "Cry Little Sister" by Aiden.
Overall, I found this to be an updated version of the first movie. Good, but felt like a remake as I've said.

I'm working at accomplishing training so that way I can then accept greater tutelage and move up in the hierarchy.
---- And that folks, is a good analogy for our society, IMHO.
